While visually impressive with close attention to vehicle detail, War Thunder soons shows its many faults when one looks underneath the hood. Monotonous grinding, grossly imbalanced planes, incompetent scoring, unpunished hackers, high pings, hit detection nightmares, spawn killing, ramming, excessive and absurd pilot "knockouts" and ever-changing damage balances with each patch quickly leads to regret for any player who spent either time or money on acquiring vehicles in War Thunder.

Developers remain mostly deaf to the complaints of the player base who have repeatedly pointed out these problems and the overpriced and unimpressive 'packages' available for the game. With developers acting proud of their ability to ignore criticism of their title, gamers would be smart to consider flying in some friendlier (and fairer) skies.

Gaijin is actually using employees to thumb down negative reviews of their poor game. Grow up, Gaijin.
