Let me start by saying I've played this game while in early alpha, and saw it, today, develop almost 3 years later to something that for me was way beyond imaginable at that time.

The O.S.T.'s fit perfectly with every passing scenario, each having it's own unique atmosphere attached to it while at the same time maintaining a momentum and harmony amongst themselves as stages pass. A good notice to headphone users is that the game's music is at a stable volume, not being to loud to hurt your ears nor too low for you to be able to hear you own ship's shots.

The level system encourages the player to replay previous levels of the game, but with good reason: even thought as you progress the stages tend to get harder, each stage ends up having a certaing point in them were you might find yourself in a tought spot, either because you did not get accustumed with that section of the stage or the controls/flow of the game yet. Playing a stage will earn you a score that in the end of a journey will award you with XP, each level you will either gain an extra continue or a new weapon to attach to you ship, if you mange to complete a stage without using any continues, and getting those extra continues might be crucial for you to pass a certain tought spot in a certain stage. (Observation: In case you end up thinking that an X number of continues is enough for you and think adding more will easen up the game too much, you can always go to the settings and lower the number of continues you can have).

Some may argue that the art might needs a bit of polishing, and in a few certain cases I completely agree, yet, many of the enemies (the way they were drawn and/or programmed) end up fitting in their scenarios because of the special and different way they were designed to be.

I highly recommend buying this game if you are into the bullet hell and shoot'em up genres, it may prove to be a different yet highly entertaining experience with high replayability and notable humorous moments.
