I love Romance of the Three Kingdom games. I know most of the background, for those that don't, there's a 15 minute YouTube video explaining it, I highly recommend it. I also like Total War games.

Game is the most optimized TW game I've played at launch.

As for the game: Solid 9.1 out of 10.

Graphics are more artistic instead of realistic. ( I think this is a plus)

Color is bright with high contrast instead of the usual grungy look. (I personally, enjoy the high contrast and bright colors but for those that don't, there's an option toggle in the graphics settings that allows changes to the color filters)

Duels are entertaining.

Unit size can be increased to bigger units in the option menu (The immersion is great with large units, as in real china warfare.)

Interpersonal relations with generals is a new element and reminds me of Crusader Kings II (In a good way.)

Diplomacy is great, probably better than most other diplomacy in other TW games.

I really enjoy the game and it's fun.

Only negative thing I can think of is that the game is very time consuming.

I played this game for 17 hours so far and have not experienced any crashes.
