i really want to like this game, to LOVE this game, but i can't anymore. i've been burned too much.

This game started off very strong, but sadly too many things went wrong.
weapon nerfs are just a small example: the weapons that were fun and actually effective to use became less effective, while the weapons that were absolutely ineffective were sometimes even made worse, so you are facing an absolute horde of bugs with nothing more than a pea shooter and a rubber band.

the mech used to be fun to use. sure, you were able to blow yourself up, but that was considered a skill issue. now you can't even aim the thing anymore, but at least you can not blow yourself up anymore.
seems like it's been tailored for the less skilled players, to get a wider appeal.

what was it the devs said? "a game for everyone is a game for no one"? well, way to miss the mark with that one :D your "nerfs" are in direct contrast to your philosophy, trying to push us to use weaker weapons and in turn taking away our freedom and enjoyment.

maybe the devs should rethink their approach, because right now they are making a game for no one.

and of course the entire thing with sony, THAT one really hurt the community. it was basically a tactical nuke onto the fanbase (not a 500kg bomb, they LOOK amazing but might as well jsut fart in the enemies general direction), and the game still hasn't recovered from that.

and of course the game is still delisted in over half the world for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason.

This game is a phenomenal hacking / social engineering simulator.
from trying to obtain personal information aobut your subjects to assemble passwords (dw, it's easy) to inferring birthdays using news articles and facebook toothbook posts, and even creating phishing links, it's got everything you need to get the data!

all of it is accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack, outstanding writing full of details, and tons of secrets to uncover, with more on the way because this is still far from complete, but yet well worth the price.

sure, sometimes you get stuck here and there, and keep throwing everythign at the wall and nothign sticks, but then you have a stupid idea and it somehow works, or you look over the same walls of texts numerous times only to realize that you missed a crucial detail somehow.

the game is also relatively forgiving, giving you multiple tries for timed or limited puzzles, and an open save system if you really feel like you need to savescum.
the current ending is even more amazing and honestly gave me a bit of a shock, as i didn't expect the stuff that happened to happen in this game, even though it's not that far fetched.

but as long as you got your brains with you, you should be fine.

i only had to look up one thing because i couldn't figure that out for the life of me, even though the solution should've been quire obvious, so i'm gonna give it to you here, but i'm vague about it so you don't get spoilered too much, and there are still a lot of puzzles and secrets to discover that make you feel smart about them!

P.S. Definitely save and prepare your brain before the segment that the game warns you about takes 30 minutes. that one is not easy at all!
