+The core building system is amazing, this is by far most fun I had in any survival chopping wood and building. But it still has many problems and limitations that should be obvious. I hope they fix those and expand upon the building and this'll be something unique.
+the forest always looks beautiful, the weather system is really well done.
-A lot of traps, building parts, items, furniture, mechanics, animals, monsters are missing from the first game. they have to put those back in before calling this ♥♥♥♥ finished.
-The worst of all is they took out effigies, custom effigies were the best part of the first game.
-The "story" sucks ♥♥♥♥, it's the worst I've ever seen in a game possibly. Wish this had no cutscenes or storyline at all just let us roam the island and piece together clues and that would be enough.
-The caves are all ♥♥♥♥, you never get the spook you got in the first games.
-the cannibal tits were much juicier in the first game.

all in all, doesn't live up to the first game but has maybe the best building system in any survival game, if they nail the early access right this might turn out to be something special.
