Where to start... If you're looking for a game that gives off a great warm happy feeling you had as a kid back when N64 was the **** and everyone wanted one, playing games like Banjo Kazooie, then you came to the right place, because this game will give you that great joy you used to have when you were a child, and this is a great family game, I would recommend this game hands down without question. I got this game on Steam Winter sale, and was looking between A Hat In Time, and Yooka-Laylee, and I'm really glad I pick A Hat In Time over Yooka-Laylee.

PROS:
- Brings joy back that was once lost in the past.
- Great music, great fashion choices, lots of things to do.
- A good story, with good gameplay mechanics, as well nice challenges.
- Controls can be switch on the fly between Controller, and keyboard & mouse.
- Very well optimize game, has a lot of workshop items on it as well.
- System requirements are very low, so cheap desktop/laptops can easily play this game just fine.
- Awesome Co-op online party that can support upwards of 50 players.

CONS:
- You may get attached to the game, and wishing for more.
- Can't really think of anything else ATM.

2018
So I played, and beaten the new DLC, I must say it's amazing DLC, all those new cute seals NPC's, new hardcore awesome events, with added co-op which was mind blowing wish it was online co-op, but oh well. The pros, and cons still stands.

2019
After playing the DLC and beaten it, once again they made an amazing DLC, they added new features, and so much more content, the new map was Meowtastic ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ the new yakuza costume and more are fabulous, camera mode is really fun to use with the new filters and stickers, lots of food items in the game to try out. The new feature is awesome they allow online co-op play, but it's crazy as it can support up to 50 players.
