Really enjoyed the first one but the second one was really a downfall. From gameplay mechanics to ai, everything was lack of thought and work. I hated to be the Emily and never wanted to experienced it again as Corvo second time.

I guess if you want to true experience and nice story to have, just stick with the first one or play as Corvo but idk.

If you are here to wonder if it's still hard game. Yeah it is still HARD AF.

But why the hell didn't you fix the resolution problem if you are going to re-release the game again. Half of the screen goes nuts.

So the game is released and I played the game once when it was first released (only chapter 1) and after chapter 2&3 update. Gameplay time was moderate, the exploration was nice, however gathering resources was a quite time consuming so I spend most of my time on that. After the release, Devs told me to give one more chance and here it is.

Humor is topnotch, you rarely see this type of quality. Space exploration is incredible, looks amazing and super fun, I played the game twice so I was more accustomed to the game but I can see where people getting frustrated. Game was meant to be played more relaxed so don't rush it, calm down, you will figure things out in few hours.

After I played for hours, I've noticed a couple of things, first, this is not a survival game. You feel like it when you played first few hours, game promotes it self like that, but you notice that rather quickly it's nothing but hunger and thirst mechanic, I think devs wanted to create this survival mechanic first but ditched it after few chapters. You start to encounter bunch of food and water everywhere so that mechanic dies really quickly. And if you are waiting to fight something blasters, there are handful of things to fight and you rarely encounter them. So if you put those things aside, game is "gather > craft necessary item > progress"

My first problem in the game was gathering part, it was indeed quite tedious but it is because of our lizard brain. When I see an item, I take it and bring it back to ship or my module. So this hoarding process goes on and on. Just like skyrim. Game doesn't require much of that resources to process actually. You don't need hundreds of wires, fabrics, plastics, etc. So storage immediately becomes a problem and if you couldn't find a suitcase early, oh boy good luck. There is also tons of collectibles and you don't know where to put them. And the how car doesn't have a trunk guys, that is a no brainer. So you create sh*t ton of suitcases to store your item. After I found storage compartment I thought "that's it no more suitcases" and guess what, storage compartment have 4 doors like you can use it 4 suitcases but no, it works like a one suitcase. WHAT?! Also suitcases are not static, they have a ragdoll, you can kick a suitcase by accident and send them to the eternal space or can be vanished. (I lost one suitcase full of refined metal, pissed me off ngl) And you spend most of your time to collect metal and after you pass chapter 3, say adios to all that you work for.

There are lot's of things to get frustrated but all of this can be resolved with quality of life update. If I were them, I would make a storage module instead of compartment and put everything there and connect it with the processor. Like in Fallout 4. One storage directly to be used by a processor and compartments. So you don't carry bunch of items, ditch everything there and don't try to find aluminium from your tens of suitcases. I know weight/mass doesn't make any sense in a space game but instead you can use volume. Just add scroll to your inventory, increase slots and use volume as a weight mechanic. Which would be a really cool game detail right?

Another problem is that after chapter 3 game leaves that exploration part and becomes more linear. Like you are still exploring and hoarding but on a certain path, rather then "let me check over there". It feels like I'm playing a different game, I'm not the guy who explores and try to survive anymore, I'm like running towards to the ending of story. There are lots of things to look at, but there is no interaction, you just run and gather.
And shoot a couple of times. I had 4 or 5 blasters at some point because I never used them and I didn't know what to do with them.

tl:dr In overall game is fun enough to keep you interested and indeed funny, story is quite interesting but there are lots of gameplay mechanic half done and ditched later. First half feels like a mediocre survival game but other half feels like a (walking simulator with extra spice) different game, needs a quality of life update. Amount of detail and work looks incredible but feels short on interaction. I would recommend though, there are not many games you can play something like that and deserves it price, but don't expect something crazy and don't get angry for small things, don't hoard much, gather enough things and move on.

OLD REVIEW
I can understand people actually enjoy this type of humor and gameplay which I really enjoyed the time I have as well. But the content in this game is simply laughable. Like really, I played this game about 1.5 hours and finished the game. 10 minutes was looking at the settings and staying on the menu. 20 minutes was loading back an old save to check out if I missed anything.

I can see that game is really promising and could be a very memorable game. But currently, you are just giving your money to support devs, not to try any new idea or gameplay mechanics. If you are going to buy this game, you should think this as an investment but actually nothing to gain besides maybe saving up some money. But if you check the frequency of updates, I guess we are here to wait. So yikes...

TL;DR Game is a "hahaha but so what now and where is the new content?"

I'm not a really big fan of grinding resources but this type of city builder games always require some constant grinding. The biggest issue is that, I can understand the grind but I don't understand the r*tarded ai and pathfinding makes your game challenging type of grinding. Because game can't comprehend advanced towns and complicated designs and such, you always find yourself on the edge of dying animals and starving population, ofc I'm talking about 100+ people.

They are so busy with their tedious r*tarded ai, they either die on their way home or suddenly attack a bear or wolf and get slain. Not only that, when you start to pick people and check what they are doing. You notice, one guy goes a hunting with a spear to a long distance to chase animal. Kills the animal and leaves it's corpse there and goes back. Because he is hungry or thirsty, doesn't listens to butcher animal and grab his stuff he goes all the way home back empty handed, funny thing is in that time, another guy from your village goes to butcher animal, get thirsty, and leaves animals stuff on the ground while heading home back. And again another dude goes to the animal to pick up his stuff, he only grabs one and goes way back home. I could give thousands of examples like this, you just need to follow one guy to check what the he is doing.

Another thing is that you have an option to use transports, not because they are faster because they can carry more items. But they literally use your 25 donkey cart in the middle of the town as a stack and still wander around the town up and down.

The point is, this game needs a little bit more development time to focus on real deal issues like ai. But in general I didn't feel like there is much to accomplish more then just start the game on harder conditions. Like there is no serious end game buildings or end game mechanics. Because fighting mechanics is absurd like everybody on the reviews said it before. But game doesn't feel like finished.

So as a suggestion to the devs. Please consider your hard work to not go to a waste and improve seriously and add content to a game, even as a dlc.

As a suggestion to a buyer. Buying game or not is our voice, not reviews and such. So I would suggest wait for the game "really" to be finished first, then buy the game to show your appreciation.

My cousin was playing this game a lot and he was pretty good at it. I bought to game with the all hype for battle royale games but now I feel like, there was nothing to connect me into this game besides my cousin. I was really having fun with playing him but all alone it was some tedious packing up mechanics like, seriously do I have to look out for some god d*mn snickers to run. Any in short as you might now, this game is old, old with the gameplay and battle royale mechanics. I'm sure there are lots of game for people who wants some enjoyable time without grab grab grab grab grab grab grab grab run run run run run run run run run run have a shootout, win or die...

I really really obsessed with the Batman since my childhood. Got sh*t load of games and toys. But the games tho, I'm really sucker for those games. I know my review wouldn't be accurate to judge this game because of my love for Batman. But I had to say that this game really made me feel like a Batman for a long period of time. There is also lot's of playable stories with different characters but they are very short and more like a tech demo with same gameplay mechanics. So I would say, you can give it a try but not really necessary. Game is offer lot's of enemies and gameplay but even I could feel the rrepetitive gameplay after 30 hours. But man, beating people with Batman is just so d*mn satisfying...

This game is just a rollercoaster, sometime you feel angry because you lose everything you got because of some stupid bug, or unplayable save files. Sometimes you feel good and peaceful for a short period of time to look at your accomplishments. But in general when I try to see the whole picture, I got a question for myself, what did I accomplish? What did I achieved by this non stupid tens of hours of gameplay. What was the goal, what direction I'm heading towards. And the answer was NOTHING. There is no story, there is no background, there is no character to empathy. It's just a black void of grinding and doing the same thing over and over again until you feel satisfied and you know just tired of it. For tens of hours you give to the game, game has nothing to offer you. So after 60hours, I just told my self, wish I could take those hours and money back so I can give someone in real need or someone really try to make a good game. I've supported the game from very beggining, finish the alpha first before the second run. But the second run was just the climax of boredom.
If you want to buy this game just thought about the hours you are going to give for intense grinding to achive what end.

Holdfast is a Really Fun Game if You Join a Regiment to Feel Order in War

If you like the Napoleonic era like Mount&Blade NW, this game will satisfy without a doubt.
But the game is a little bit of lack of unit types.

The game is still under development and the developer team is very small. So you have to hold on a little bit until they finish all the factions and unit types, which is a great time to buy on sale and helping the devs right now.

But the trick is all about joining a regiment. Without it, the game feels like just another team deathmatch game without strategy.

You got to see all the glorious line battles and join the other events to see 150 people just fighting in order like doing what their commanders says and fighting as one. Because it gives you something that other game couldn't give you like all that order in war feeling.

That feeling has always been a something that amazes me, that is why I can recommend this game without a doubt.
So without a proper regiment and trying an event at least one going to be wrong to judge the game.

And I can recommend our current regiment so you can give it a try at least one. We are currently one of the biggest regiment in EU and with many years of experience in excellent leadership and discipline. We are also a laid back regiment as we do not ask you to apply to our regiment or do some kind of trial (Unlike other regiments) and we do not expect you to come to ALL our events we understand if you cannot come.

If this sounds interesting, please don't hesitate to contact.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a Fully Bugged, Non-Playable AAA Budget Game Who Hides Behind the Low Budget Small Studio Curtain!

Today what I learned about this game just shocked me. I thought this was a small studio who needed Kickstarter for a low budget game and I was reviewing the game "meh" because of their efforts. But it turns out Kingdom Come: Deliverance had 36.5 Million $ as a budget which means more then a half of the mf Witcher 3!

This game is no doubt an AAA title, but with the all problems they are just hiding behind the small studio, kickstarted, low budget game. So I decided to update my review of this game and judge it by an AAA title.

------------------------

I was expecting some issues but never expected game-breaking problems. I mean I'm OK with some not good looking animations and bad voice actings but this is beyond playable. It is very sad to see how they try to make a beautiful and immersive game but goes into dung because of the studio's and community's fault.

I don't give thumbs down much but I feel like people should hear it. Lots of mechanic like fighting, stealth, riding and picklocking is beyond broken, and impossible to play. For mini-games there is no decent tutorial yet game expect you to make it to progress, which you can't. Game crashed a couple of times and cost me half hour every time. After losing hours I decided to find a mod to fix this issue so I can save freely.

Poor performance issue was another thing because holly sheat sometimes the game goes 70fps to 15fps like bitcoin prices. And I'm using 1080gt with 6 core CPU. Go figure... And if you want to talk someone, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR LOADING!! Even when you open a map, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR LOADING!

And like all this performance issue was not enough, people run around WITHOUT THEIR HEAD! That's right, when you encounter first time a people you have to wait their heads to load, so you can interact with them. Aaaand of course, you have to wait for the textures as well because get ready for some PS2 graphics. When you arrive a town, textures are just blurred out disgusting looking plane models but after 10 seconds it becomes normal again. I tried to find mods to fix this issue but none of them solved the issue completely. It just makes it 2-3 seconds faster.

This game is so broken that there are people just strolling around naked (with tiny peanuses) and there are storyline guys just takes up 5 arrows into their non-protected bald head, run around and chase you and one tap you, even with the armour. And there are some items doesn't even spawn but it should.

And I'm not even want to get started how stupid on objective mechanic is. For example; "Find a spade" ok let me look around at the map so I can found where could it be aaaaaaand it is the whole city. Run around 20 minutes to find a spade.

The game is definitely at beta (and maybe even alpha) stage no doubt it. I feel like a tester running around and doing the same thing over and over and over again until game doesn't get broken at some point. After 6 hours, I could "able" complete prologue. Think about it.

My point is this, the fault is on not only on the developers but is on the hyped up community as well. The game needs at least 4-6 months before completion, yet they release the game because people "HAVE TO" play it. This is a not acceptable mistake for an AAA title after 4 years.

If this game released by EA or Ubisoft people will sh*tpost them for ages BUT NO, because of the sympathy for the developers, people just ignore all these major problems, which shows how biased is the community against game developers.

TL:DR; My recommendation is this. Wait and the game is not finished yet and It will get much much better after a couple of months so you don't become a pissssed off tester boi. And don't buy it yet because I feel like the game will be on sale pretty soon to cover up their bad release.
