What can I say; as one of the people who grew up alongside Harry Potter, this game made me nostalgic for a world I'd always dreamed to be a part of. While the game has little replay value for me, it's left its mark. I finished the game months ago and still listen to its musical score!

I've always loved Scandinavian folklore and tales of the fae -- but oh man, I wasn't prepared for much this would affect me as a parent. So play it for the absolute gorgeous storytelling, but take the game's warnings seriously!

All right. I was excited about this game from the onset, but 70+ hours have passed, and I'm not nearly as done as I thought I'd be at this point. The amount of detail that's gone into developing this game is just outrageous -- in a good way. Planning your crop harvesting and shipping days; building friendships with people, fowl and cattle; fighting off dust mites in deep mines; offering up goodies to cute marshmallow-like creatures; waiting to have BABIES; so much more. Stardew Valley is an amazingly complex game that both casual and hardcore gamers can enjoy.

I dove into the game expecting to have my heart wrenched, and I re-emerged not the least bit disappointed. Never has such a short and simple game toyed with my emotions quite like this. It's ineffable, what this game is and does. The music alone will pull you into a world of joy and pain, the dialogue will lift and kill your spirits, the sequence of events will inspire and break you.

I strongly recommend playing this game; it's an experience you won't wish to forget.

As a first-time TCG player, I'd say this game is pretty entertaining, with decent gameplay and fascinating animations. The tutorials are a bit difficult to follow, and the interface is confusing, but I think with some practice, dedication, and a bit of eye strain, I can easily spend a few hours playing.
