One of the best graphic AAA game so far. Fully utilised Unreal engine 5.
Game is fun in the first 4 chapters, the last two chapter is fine but can be further improved.
Can't wait for DLC

I played Forstpunk 1 and I was really interested in the concept they mentioned, I managed to get no people die because of me but the story itself (2 people), but coming to Forstpunk 2, this is nothing related to City Builder in a larger scale, It is more like politics simulator, I have already suffered enough from the politics from my work (Quitting the job in one week), I do not need a game to help me recall those memories.

I purchased this game thinking it is more like Diablo or Wolcen.
But it turns out the game is more like Path of Exile.

And Path of Exile is free to play game.

The first moment I get into the game, I thought, wait, why you give me online or offline mode.
I hope it is not something going to keep me online forever, then I get into the game, the skills are nothing special, felt like a replica of Diablo or Titan Quest.
In addition to that, can easily tell the graphic is designed for online multiplier game, the texture is blurred out in the highest setting.
The worst part, when you get into town center, you started to see a lot of other player dressing the same like you coming out of everywhere with lots of shining blinding paid look. So after I purchased 75 dollars, the developers wanted me to "donate" more to them.

Reminds me of all the people regardless of whether they are friend, teacher or relative that has passed away.
I wish they were just like the story, happy and enjoying the final trip and begin their new life.

This game is pretty cool to play :)

There is bug of activating this DLC, There is no support after reporting the bug.
After numerous tries, I have to ask for refund because this DLC simply just not show up in my game.

I did not know this game is related to a novel when I purchase it, it is showing as a recommendation on some gaming websites saying it is similar to Beholder, Beholder is really fun, I have good ending and bad ending to choose from, although to reach the good ending is really hard, but it does give me some hope when playing. So I bought it.

But for this game, just look from the gameplay component, it is a fail. When player are playing this game, there has no freedom of control from the player perspective. And the story wise is straight forward depressing for the sake of depressing, I played 4 times, the ending has almost no differences, I tried to choose so many different options hoping there are different outcome. But the game play will just raise an event to make everything that you have prepared in ruins.

For example, regardless of how much stock you collected, at the end of the year during winter, the stock is going to be reduced to the lowest quantity so that you have to restart from scratch the next year. It is just against the common sense when the animals saying need to save on eating and on the other hand the food is completely gone regarding of how much stock you have.
Next, whatever you choose, regardless of whether you completed the windmill or not, it will always crash at end of year 3 with big gale. And the game play just force us to build that windmill.
The pigs are always going to live in the farmhouse and drink cow milk and eat apple.

These fixed events bring nothing fun and leading to some illogical events, such as while discussing about building windmill, I made everyone supporting building the wind mill, then the pig which proposed to build the windmill escaped from the animal crowd for no reason. And the pig which crazily against building wind mill suddenly force all animal to build it.

Such kind of weird event happens all the time, also the game has no instructions about the green and red background, I have no idea why it constantly change and there is no patterns of it, all I know is once the background of animal is becoming fully red, they usually the animal not going to show up afterwards, but they are still alive, so why not show up? The periodic blinking of the animal profile background also has no pattern or make any sense, you do not ask animal to work, they become red, you have no interaction with them at all, they also become red. There are no instructions in game providing help too.

The funny thing at the end while I was trying to look for strategy document to see any good endings, I noticed people in the discussion forums saying we need to read books first. Please remember this is a game, it is for people to enjoy, if I need to read a book in order to play game and understand the full story, that's not a successful game to most of the people.

I have no issues with understanding Beholder's backstory, but this game, I have no idea what I am supposed to do. It is chaos.
