Early Access Review
The game offers a comfortable yet detailed and complex simulation of up to ~10,000 individual pawns with unique wants and desires. Your goal is to direct this crowd to build an empire by conquering or assimilating neighboring city-states, each governed by individuals with unique traits.

One of my only issues is with the formula used to calculate tool impact. Currently, it's an additive bonus to other production bonuses like technology or upgrades, instead of being a multiplicative bonus. This design causes tools to become less impactful as technology and upgrades increase.

Tools logically impact every action and require industry upkeep. If a pawn performs X actions in Y time, increasing time increases actions done linearly (e.g., from 6 to 8 hours) is an additive increase to production. However, tools affecting every action should be represented as a multiplicative bonus as they increase the effectiveness of every action taken, not only being more logical but also allowing tools to scale evenly with other upgrades. This would make tools consistently useful throughout the game, rather than only being useful early on and becoming less effective later.

If that doesn't convince you of how good this game is, that it's worth nitpicking to such a degree, you can join the Discord and chat with the solo developer, Jake. He's super nice and often will patch bugs by the next day, which is just amazing to me.
