I kept seeing friends who liked that same war games as me, always playing this. Now I know why. Just try it or wait for Bannerlord.

Not gonna lie- this has been the single most difficult, unforgiving, devsfeedonyourtears, game I have ever played to date. It takes many hours to learn and I still develop the occasional string of Tourettes while playing; however, I still love this game!

This is turn based strategy at its best. Do you like Valkyria Chronicles? Do you remember the glory of Gladius by Lucas Arts? Have you ever played ... heck ... looked at Warhammer pictures?

If you answered yes or think you may be interested in any way, wait for a sale and buy this game.

This game is pure gold ... pun intended.

I've played three different versions since I was a teenager in the 90s. It is one of the most complete, satisfying, and balanced adventures ever created. This is the shiney new version, and I love it.

I've played five MMOs, and this one is my favorite due to the setting and gameplay; combined with good graphics and excellent music. I have also found the combat more enjoyable than the collective Elder Scrolls games.

The only downside I've had is managing inventory. You really need the crafting bag (only found with the subscription) if you're a 'loot everything' person like me. Let's face it, this is the Elder Scrolls- you're going to loot everything.

Instead of level'd zones, there is a scaling system, which is a departure from the norm. Crafting is one of my favorite parts of any RPG, but crafting isn't very useful as basic dungeons sets tend to be superior. I craft anyway, but until endgame it's just just useful for daily writs (gold) and putting all that stuff you loot to good use.

This is fairly priced when compared to Beastmen DLC. I got it for pre-order, so am neutral on the issue.

A worthwhile DLC at an appropriate price.

I found it lackluster for the price. It's a must if you want a complete game, so wait for a sale. I had a refund from summer sale I used to purchase it.

Yes for genre fans.

No for bugs and gamebreakers.

I've put many hours into this game. It was pretty awesome. In 2020, 2K changed the launcher and in 2021 added 2nd party EULA and login software that has broken the game. As of April, 2021, I cannot even play. They've updated the 2K launcher several times now, but everything is borked.

They keep "fixing" what is not broken, and it's making it impossible to mod, as well as impossible to launch without relying on 3rd party user-made software.

Until they fix it, I'm switching my review to negative.

Update- The game launches and but several mods no longer work. Additionally, the 2K launcher stays open in the background and pulls bandwidth. Task manager indicates that it's up to something. You cannot close the launcher and play at the same time. My rural internet feels the pull, and it's unacceptable to me to suddenly require internet connection to actively play.

Duhhhh.... Skyrim Remastered soon!
