I've played ARK: Survival Evolved since it's pre-release and it's a great game in so many ways, to briefly sum it up - not only are the graphics awesome, there is also a great progression system in the game which allows you to learn new engrams / skills, craft items, weapons and build so many different things to help your battle with survival. You can explore caves, oceans, forests, swamps, mountains and much more and also tame creatures to help you throughout the game, the changes in weather vary depending on where in the world you go, which makes it very fun and challenging. There is a good Tribe system which is great for playing with friends / group / clan members and I always enjoyed the different events the game offered such as Fear Evolved and Winter Wonderland. The game also offers single player mode and you can play competitive PvP in Multiplayer, or simply against the environment in PvE depending on your preference. If you like survival games with a difference, and the ability to progress and take on new challenges then I would definitely recommend this game, ARK: Survival Evolved is the best survival game I have played to date.

The DLC expansions are all worth it and have their own unique features and characteristics, bringing even more to the story and the journey for the explorer.

- I'm still playing this at the end of 2023. I've enjoyed the story that's been brought to the game over the last several years and the evolution of the characters and dialogue. The added voice overs are a great addition and give the story an extra spark of life. All the DLC's are unique and incredibly detailed and the latest creatures keep making things interesting :)
