I don't really like teen drama and typical conflicts unfortunately in the first chapters there are plenty of childish moments.. to be fair this is found in the most horror/slasher movies. Speaking of teen drama and slasher genre Friday the 13th is a movie series i have to mention.. so there you have it if you need a reference for our game.

Visually this is a cinematic experience with a dark atmospheric tension, dense forests and a emphasis on shadows. The character models and the use of motion capture tech really makes you feel you watch a movie , some of the characters are very realistic and their facial expressions express emotional depth.

So beyond that teen drama cover that myself included judged too soon, there is a decent story to discover.. each character is distinct with a different background and motifs, depending on the choices made, the story can branch in different directions making each playthrough unique. There are multiple endings to discover and the replayability is great.

To sum up i enjoyed it a lot even if i had my doubts i was wrong, it's not really the type of game that makes you jump from your chair so don't expect a lot of scares . One thing i missed is more game segments where you can shoot or fight, there is a lost potential and i wished for more mini games or at least puzzles for variety.
There was a pleasant surprise in the menu where you can watch two variants of movie in which everyone dies or survives, so if you don't want to play it just watch it !

I really liked the supernatural elements but i don't want to ruin your experience and tell you too much.. you just have to discover them by yourself.
