In the year 700-something on a different planet where different races live, u are born as an elda, a slave, a servant. The king of the capital of the world gets murderd and through magic anyone can be the new king, even you.
Do u have what it takes to rule the country? Or will the crown be to heavy?

Pros
Interesting story with a good twist compared to the persona games.
Social links are interesting and they don't have a need to equip a certain persona or to pick the right dialouge option, eliminating the need for a guide, yey.
The world is very different and exploring feels good.
The dungeons are not all the same, but instead have different objectives
Worth the full price as the story is 70-100 hours long.

Cons
The archetype system is very shallow compared to the persona system.
Also many of the archetype skills are just plain bad and will never see use.
Dungeons, mini dungeons and side quests leads to alot of combat, and with the redesigned battle system I think the focus on constant combat was to much to be enjoyable. Also the enemy diversity in this game is down right awful. It's the same 6 or 7 mobs from the starting area all the way to the end.
Locking the highest difficulty behind "new game plus" is just bad design.

All in all the pros outweights the cons and anyone familair with persona 3, 4 or 5 should feel right at home. Esp if u like the dungeons/battles more than the social/story in the persona games.

Worst kind of idle game. No story, very grindy and a massive cashgrab, avoid it.

Early Access Review
A city builder where planning, working the rng and adapting to events, population and resources are everything.

The game starts of very friendly, with few buildings and few modifiers. As u keep playing the difficulty will go up and in order to come out ahead u need to change what u are doing, based on what u find.
The RNG is a huge part of this game, u can not always do the same thing. If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then stay away from the game.

However if u like the challenge, to be pushed towards failure and like the idea of winning against all odds, then give the game a go. With a flexable difficulty system u can make this easy... Or brutally hard.
Can u survive, against the storm?

Fun game.
Difficulty is based on your computer and fps. You can be a casual and limit fps or u can do it the real way and play without doing it. This way the game is very hard, but it also feels very good finding new ways to do things. It will take many restarts on most maps tho.
The difficulty is many times rng based and unfair for sure, but it's doable just fine with some patience.

Some of the dlc won't work, but the community tries to patch broken things. The actual developer quit long ago so don't expect any updates.
Worth a buy if u like hard games, and a pass if u don't.

The good
Elden ring has an incredibly diverse way of playing. There are 2h weapons, dual wielding, spells, ranged weapons, buffs and the ability to add boss weapons and some new abilities to weapons. You will never find a time where u tried it all.

Many boss fights are cool, look different and atleast for the first half of the game requires u to "git gud" in order to progress.

The areas are cool looking and the zones are different enough to not get bored.

The game has a very balanced difficulty system, where u can google locations of upgrade items and/or use spirit summon and pretty much never die at anything. Or u can explore one zone at a time, not skipping ahead and always be on your toes for the next foe.

The game is fun for most part and doesn't have any boss, zone or mechanic that feels straight up unfair.

Encounterd 0 crashes, 0 bugs, 0 glitches 0 freezes, very smooth experience.

The community and the player with username "LetMeSoloHer".

The bad
Cliffs, cliffs everywhere, in your adventures u will be hinderd to go from point a to point b many many times by either a cliff that u need to get up on or a cliff u need to get down from. On a few places there are whirlwinds that boost u up on a cliff and let u jump down from a cliff without dieing. There need to be way more of those whirlwinds as u will spend way longer finding your way around cliffs then u spend at any boss.
We are talking hours.

Spirit summons are op and ruins the game experience, do yourself a favor and don't upgrade them to +10.

Quests are annoying and not really needed?

Crucible knight gets an honorable mention simply based on where in the game it is placed.

All in all 50 hours adventure that feels very "souls-like" so if that's your type of game u will like it.
8.5/10.

Only for tryharders :D
5 years of playtime, don't expect it to go fast.
Deepest most intense idling game ever made.
Best discord community of any game.
Bonus points because u can get an otter as a pet. Who doesn't want an otter as pet?
10/10.
