This game is honestly so addicting and fun. After I saw Skooch bring it up I thought it looked cool then Humble Bundle decided to drop this bombshell of a game onto my lap.

It's very well designed and doesn't feel repetitive (aside maybe the first 30 seconds which is you just tilling your farm) and at first i was apalled that the game didn't rotate from Nuclear Winter ->Nuclear Spring/Spring and be year2 or such. BUT! Year 2 as a starting point is already so fun and challenging as a roguelike fan. I can't even imagine what year 3 on is gonna be like!!!

There are unlockables just like a roguelike should have of course. You get cornacopeia or however it's spelt. And you gather these along your year to use in the hub to upgrade things like the scrolls you use, the tractors you get, your starter gun etc.

I think my only real complaint is the gun breaking, after i invest so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money in them. But to be honest if you're playing the game right you DON'T NEED the new guns you bought really. It makes the game easier (most of the time... I'm lookin at you butcher knife and squirrel gun) but it really sucks to invest a lotta money into the guns only for them to break. But hell. later in the year if again you're playing right. You should be making so much money it won't MATTER if your gun breaks.

I'd say my favorite way to play is to just get a lotta barn animals. Cows will help water your plants, Chickens eat weeds (that grow on your tilled land irritatingly enough), and Bees pollinate your plants to grow faster. Turrets and scarecrows are also a thing (though tbh i only really care about the turrets) and there are upgrades to these things as well! Like to use a million turrets? BAM you can get upgrades that allow your turrets to water plants around it. Like having a LOT of cows that water your plants? BAM The cows can take bullets and ♥♥♥♥ them out for you. DO YOU LOVE CHICKENS EDDY?! They turn weeds into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flowers that you can harvest and honestly the money adds up!

Normally I always recommend to buy a game when it's on sale, but I'd honestly say I woulda paid $20 if I knew this game was this fun! If you like Binding of Isaac THIS is the game for you. No question
