This continues to spiral upwards, as you get more and more complex, and the planet and system and then cluster change because of what you do. No longer are you running between mines and storage facilities and replicators, now you are worrying about entire chains, while swarms of drones fly above you between supply towers, and carriers launch from them to other worlds.

All the time you look up and see the dyson swarms, rings and shells you are working on taking place and visible from your planet.

Watching your rings and swarms for the first time crest over the horizon as you look up into the sky from your planet is something else.
