I'm going to be brutally honest I have played your game for nearly a decade now in my spare time be it from casual or community-made servers. Even during those earlier years cheaters and bots were present however it never developed into a rampant problem where they would be seen everywhere no matter where I went, I can't even recall anymore the last time I played a game where there wasn't a single bot or cheater.

In the last several years the community has pined for a response from you, Valve, to step in and take action to finally put an end to, or mitigate, a big problem that you could've easily prevented when it was still a minor issue all those years ago, yet from your constant persistence to keep on neglecting the game has allowed this problem to fester to such a degree that the game is practically unplayable and is even a threat to the players own well being as the bots are now capable of obtaining and doxxing a players information just by being on the same server as them, and in some cases have even impersonated a user to ruin and slander their reputation. You are no longer safe just by wanting to play the game itself.

To add further insult to injury, a while back you thought it was a great idea to restrict new accounts from being able to use text and voice chat as a method of stopping the bots from blasting garbled audio through the mic function, as well as using spamming the text chat to promote their own botting software, only being able to use them once you upgraded to a premium account just by purchasing anything on the Mann Co. store. Well it's 2024 now and it's like nothing's changed at all, these bots are still spamming through text and voice chat which only means that it's highly likely that the bot host has been purchasing items to regain access to these features, so now you're directly profiting off of the people who are actively harming the game and the players who are still around even now.

Now it is expected that a summer update will come in a few months, undoubtedly with microtransactions. I will no longer be paying for any new content that comes out of this barely functioning game until significant changes have been made that properly fix the issues still plaguing the game to this day. Last year around this time you gave us all false hope that the game would get fixed from one singular tweet over on Twitter on your official TF2 account which hadn't seen the light of day since 2017, you thought giving us several half-baked updates over the coming months with broken features, STILL WITH MICROTRANSACTIONS, while not trying to do anything about the main reason we called you out would get us to keep quiet about it? Well not this time, it's not gonna work.

Oh and by the way, that little other team shooter you're working on that's been leaking online recently isn't giving us a lot of good faith. Just a thought.
