For nearly 20 years I have played this masterpiece and IT NEVER GETS OLD! In that time my girlfriend got fat (so did I), my dog died, my car died (3 times), I lost all my money in Vegas (twice), and I ran out of booze (but never hangovers) and this game is still just as cool as when I first pulled it out of the box and installed it nearly 2 decades ago. TLDR: 7/10 - Political satire that advocates openly for Yang. Lots of jokes about the candidates and the campaign. The jokes are mostly pretty good but the fighting is just OK with some major problems the biggest of which is that there is currently no way to save your progress. I definitely recommend if you are into Yang or politics.

This game is a political satire of the campaign for the U.S. Presidency and includes many, but not all, of the major candidates as well as President Trump and a few media venues. The fighting is pretty decent but stiff and clunky. If you require that this game's fighting be on par with titles like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter you will likely be disappointed. If you are into Yang, politics, or the campaign to be President and the candidates you will probably enjoy this game and its many jokes that poke fun at the candidates and the media. Included playable candidates are: Yang, Booker, Warren, Biden, Buttigieg, Bernie, and Trump. Also playable are Joe Rogan and some generic MAGA hat wearing Trump supporter. The jokes are mostly decent with some being hilarious both in the cutscenes and during the fights.

The main problems are:
1) The game gives you no way to save your progress so every time you start the game all of the characters are locked again.
2) The fighting is clunky and stiff and the dev clearly prioritized the story and jokes over the fighting. If you don't care about the story or jokes then this may be a big negative for you. I found the fighting good enough to make the game enjoyable.
3) Many significant candidates are missing from the game.

Suggestions:
1) You really need to add the ability to save your progress.
2) Perhaps the dev should offer a DLC that adds Gabbard, Klobuchar, Harris, Swalwell, Steyer, Bloomberg, Williamson, Beto, Castro, Gillibrand, de Blasio, and even Bill Weld who is running against Trump and a few media personalities such as Stephanopoulos, Maddow, Chris "Fredo" Cuomo, Wolf Blitzer, Tucker Carlson, Colbert, and Oprah. Dave Chappelle just endorsed Yang, maybe he should make an appearance.
3) Work on improving the fighting aspect of the game. It is not the focus but if improved it would make a considerable impact.
4) If not directly playable perhaps some of those I have mentioned as possible inclusions could instead appear during fights as helpers the player can call into the fight. Such as Gabbard flying a jet across the top of the screen damaging your opponent or buffing the player or Cuomo could be called on screen to annoy or distract your opponent debuffing them or Swalwell can be summoned to fart on your opponent and do damage or Dave Chappelle is summoned to endorse you giving you courage and restoring a little health. It would add more variety and make room for more jokes.

Overall I would give the game a 7/10, the jokes and story are 8/10, and the fighting is just OK at 5/10. I decided that since it is clearly a political satire the jokes and story are much more important and so I weighted them more heavily. I definitely recommend this game to everyone except those who are only interested in the game as a fighter. The fighting is the weakest aspect of the game but it is still decent and enjoyable. I hope the dev will continue to develop the game and offer updates and maybe even expand the content, especially the roster of fighters.
