Description
I wanted to do a lot of stuff with this character, but since I have almost no knowledge about LUA and I'm too shy to ask for help with the hard stuff, I just decided to leave it as it is.

The Glitched starts with the D8 and Broken modem, with weird tears (whenever they update the TearFlags list to add the value of the new ones I'll play around with them). He can fly (since he's in the wrong layer) and shoot through objects (again, the wrong layer).

I wanted to add a lot of stuff like rerolling his heart each floor, giving the tears a chance to glitch the enemies, and more. For now I'm happy with his weirdness.

Considering Dream Catcher is a better version of False Hope, I decided it was better to just remove it.

For some reason they changed how the tears work when shooting on different directions, the sprites don't rotate automatically, so I had to find a way to fix that for 8 inch nail, which I didn't, so have rotating nails, it's funnier that way.

I left it included on the tainted list because why not (also I don't exactly know how to remove it).

thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. The idea I had in mind was to add to the tear an effect similar to dataminer, I want the sprites to glitch without affecting the gameplay too much, sadly I have no idea how to do that yet. TM Trainer in my opinion is not that much of a fun item, and I want to keep The Glitched fun to use, so I don't think I'll give it to him, but maybe as a birthright skill it'd be good? I think I know how to do it but I don't think I'll do it yet, I'll keep it as an option tho, thanks again!

hey dude, i'e done a bunch of runs with this character in repentance and thought you might like some feedback.

i've beaten all the major bosses, including The Beast with no crashes, and he seems ironically quite stable.

my only thought on him is if you could find a way to equip him with the item TMTrainer, it would seriously cement him in that glitchy realm. the offset being it could potentially make him too powerful, or runs frustrating. but i don't know.

i havent tested him with all the items yet. its a slow process, but he works with a massive chunk of the tools which is dope. maybe you could make TMTrainer his Birthright skill?

either way, he's great and his loading screen animation is very satisfying to watch. thank you for putting in so much effort.

took me a bit but I was able to make it properly work with Repentance. I'd like to know if the sprites are too bright for photosensitive people, I have photophobia but I focus on the enemies more than the player's sprite, so it's not an issue for me, I'd like other people's opinion tho

I don't know how to edit the size, but like editing the tear to give the glitch effect is actually really simple, basically you create the animation and then in lua you make the game detect the tear you wanna replace (there's a webpage with the id for the tears like needle tears, scythe tears, etc.) and replace it with the id of your tear. If you don't know how to do it just copy my code and edit it

if you have afterbirth+ you only need to subscribe to it and steam will download it for you
