Spear of Twilight

Description
Kilroy Presents

The Spear of Twilight

This ship is a heavy frigate ship designed for sustained combat. The ship features an omni gravity drive, regenerative weapons and main reactor, redundant systems, and internal thrusters. The ship is as durable as it is deadly the outer hull is entirely heavy armor (don't worry the grav drive more than makes up for the ship's weight) and features a huge forward rocket cannon. the ship is bristling with may point defense cannons. If you're going to war you would do well to take this ship with you.

Please like and sub them as every ship should use these

This ship makes liberal use of the work of my friend Quartofel's Wayfinding Plackards

thanks to everyone for there comments and likes. I'm glad you all are enjoying the ship. as to its friggate designation. I dont really do "small" large grid ships. the 102*31*21 size makes this a fairly small ship for me. it also is the first ship i have built that can be operated in combat by a single engineer. BAT is right everyone seems to have there own internal classifications for ships. im waiting to hear back from my group (UESC) to see where they will place this ship in there fleet. The clasification will likely change after that.

This thing is far too beastly to be called a mere frigate. Its not massive enough to be called a cruiser but its too heavy and armed/armored to be classified as a destroyer. Ill call it a light experimental cruiser/heavy experimental destroyer.

This things too badass to be mass produced, i envision people using this as lynchpins in mid sized ship fleets.

I know we all have different classifications, so to me, based on weight/size, she's a Heavy Cruiser. (between 20-29 million Kg)

Beautiful vessel. Some interesting design aesthetics. Some ideas that I would never have thought of.

It's a fast accelerating, if average maneuverability Heavy Cruiser. Spinal weapons aside, it's pretty lightly armed for it's displacement. Needs more way gyros to turn fast enough to get those spinal launchers on target for more than an initial pass.

All told, it seems to be a worthy combatant. Hard to catch due to acceleration. Played right it would be a difficult ship to fight against.
