Description

This mod patches all filth defs so they wash away with rain/snow. It also patches all filth defs that have a disappearsInDays duration of 15 or higher. What does this mean? It means every type of filth in the game and every type of filth added by mods should vanish with rain/snow and disappear at most after 14-15 days (in vanilla this is typically between 35-50 days). As a result with this mod rain/snow will now clean your map and any areas that are undercover, forgotten and not cleaned for a long time will eventually become clean on their own.

The following types of filth and more will now be washed away by rain/snow and vanish over time.

Animal Filth
Trash
Sand
Rock Rubble
Building Rubble
Scattered Slag
Scattered Sandbags
Machine Bits
Ash
Hair

Note: In vanilla some filth types such as blood, corpse bile, dirt, firefoam and a few other things already vanish with rain/snow.

This mod is included in [FSF] FrozenSnowFox Tweaks.

Compatibility

This mod shouldn't have any compatibility issues. Just make sure it is loaded near the end of your load order so it can overwrite any other mods as necessary.

The mod description should be rather clear on what this mod does. The vanilla game removes filth after 35-50 days, my mod shortens this to 14-15 days. Also in the vanilla game some types of filth wash away with rain/snow, my mod changes this so all types of filth wash away with rain/snow. Overall this mod is not necessary, however the changes it provides ensures filth as a whole will be removed a lot quicker especially when it rains/snows.

I mean I'm using a cleaning area mod that can set separate the cleaning area from the blue one (idk if it called life area or something). And I found a pawn cleaning area that is not assigned, which scared me:expression3: Later I found not all other regions are cleaned, and the part my pawn cleaning was indeed under roof, which reminds me of this mod:NekoPawLeft: It doesn't really affect too much tho :zagpls: Thx for the reply

This mod doesn't change any behaviour when it comes to cleaning. If you want to change how that functions you'll need another mod.

is this mod more prioritized than cleaning area mods:expression3:? My pawns would clean the unassigned area if it's under roof :P5R_Morgana:

@FrozenSnowFox Thx for the reply, it helped clearing the confusion alot.
Maybe it's the problem with grazing land and fertile field altogether. But more testing is needed... Thanks again.

That's not coming from this mod. This mod is a simple xml patch and it only touches filth defs. You'll have to look through your mod list to see where its coming from. It sounds like you have some sort of terraforming mod that changes terrain with rainfall.

for some reason this mod causes some weird issue, for an example if i make a land with mod's floor like rich soil, or tilled land. after rain the land will 'washed away' and turn into packed dirt as their base floor.

replaced it will turn it back. no need for rain. any tips? im using fertile land
