Scars of Valles

These lands were scarred by a conflict that goes back to a time before man, a time when the gods roam the earth. There was a god named Valles, he was known as the God of Stone and he was responsible for shaping the land and mountains of Earth's crust. He was diligent about this task. His desire was to create a shell to protect the planet while also maintaining the beauty of it's landscapes. The thing was, he was only attached to his creations above else and didn't wish to have anything to do with the other gods.

That was until he met Cora'ce, The Goddess of Water, who paved paths of water through his lands. At first was he bothered by her interference with his landscapes, but slowly he began to admire the improved beauty of the lands as water flowed through them. It seem to chip away his heart of stone and open his eyes to the true wonders that can be accomplished with Earth and other elements. He began to fall in love with the Goddess, but another god didn't like the matter one bit.

Diran, God of Destruction was disturbed by the love, so much it made him sick. So one day it was said that he ascend into the heavens and brought down meteors to ravage the lands that the Stone god and Water goddess work so hard to build. This angered Valles so much and attacked Diran, both fought for years over the damage and refused to stop even if the goddess intervene in their conflict. Yet, it all end when Diran did the final blow of throwing a Asteroid at Valles, creating a massive crater that overshadows the numerous other craters left in the wake of the conflict. Cora'ce broken by the loss of Valles and cries a stream from where his remains lie. Her Sorrow brought snow among them that last to this very day.
