Make sure your physics detail is at full. It's very important to make these kinds of creations function properly.
> Settings > General > Physics Detail

Ropes are used to stablize the tilt and flex of the vehicle.
The pivots are used to create the flex.
The suspension part is to help smoothen the ride and soak bumps for better stability. You can also use the Robotic Hinge.

For super compact situations you can use a engine / Generator for electric motor

You can carefully tune the parts by going into select tool. The top left pointing arrow

Gear ratio can help with how much resistance and toughness to flex. Recommended 1% Power. 1:2 Gear Ratio
Power Percentage also strengthen or weaken the hinge or pivot.


Recommended to turn on HOTAS mode by pushing J for higher speed driving.


For rough or uneven terrain driving this is a great solution. The normal suspension wheel is limited and it can get annoying when you get damaged for hitting a bump the wrong way.
