Adding something to the existing UI would require patching it and I'd rather not do that for compatibility reasons. That's also why the preview and toolbar are simple windows on top of the world map, rather than directly integrated into its UI.
Sorry that happened to you. However the point of that button is to allow quickly rerolling through many world seeds, so asking for confirmation would defeat the purpose. If you don't like this feature, you can disable it in the mod settings, in the "Toolbar" tab.
This mod does not have any function like that. You could try the "Save Maps" mod.
You can look for the Player.log file in your RimWorld directory and upload it to some filesharing service like http://paste.gg
Thanks for reporting, however unfortunately that log is filled with so many errors and messages from other mods that the end got cut off (logs get trimmed if too long to upload) and as a result the information about Map Preview is not included.
I recommend that you reduce your mod list a bit and especially get rid of the mods that are throwing errors. If you need help with that, I recommend asking in the #troubleshooting channel of the official RimWorld Discord server.
