Report a translation problem
In 1.4 there was an obvious issue with how roof eaves rendered but, the picture in the mod's description is not really the best to show the the problem. The building is highlighted along the left hand side, when really it should be the south where the render problem can be seen much easier.
Basically, 1.4 had a glaringly obvious issue with eave shadows in vanilla, and Perspective: Eaves fixed that problem by darkening the roof shadow as can be seen in the link below:

The shadow cast my the building in the picture is truncated close to the building where the lighter roof eave shadow is. But in 1.5 they changed up how they implement shadowing, and now it is no longer an issue, making this mod obsolete.
All a 1.5 update would do is slightly darken the eave shadows
