To get all achievement you will have to finish the game once and then get to a certain point in the story with other 3 hauses. It take about 2-3h per house.

Achievements in this game are rather easy but getting all collectibles for Collector's Edition will take some time.
Fortunately nothing is missable. So enjoy the game, play it as you want and after you finish main story do the clean up for missing achievements and collectibles.

Collector's Edition - Complete all collections


For this you will have to get everything under Collection section of the book.
Many collectibles will become available later in the game when you learn specific spells or progress the story and side quests.

Focus potion, Thunderbrew potion, Chinese chomping cabbage, Erudus potion, Invisibility potion, Mandrake, Maxima potion, Venomous Tentacula and Wiggenweld Potion.

150 Revelio Pages


Only pages that you must use revelio to reveal count towards this collection.

67 Enemies


You will encounter most of them during your normal playthrough.
This collection include infamous does so you will have to hunt those.
Also some unique enemies can be encountered only in battle arenas.
I will add full list of enemies down below.

78/78 Appearances


Those are unlocked by quests and challenges. Dark Arts DLC adds 10 more but those do not count toward the achievement.

Raising Expectations - Reach a combo of 100


Not as hard as it seams.
Find a Troll at about your level and simply don't get hit while shooting him with your wand. I suggest a River Troll as it's easiest troll of all. Keep away from him and he will only throw rocks at you. Don't use spells, just your wand.

The Nature of the Beast - Breed every type of beast

For this one you must breed all beasts exept Phoenix.

Thestral - Bred during the "Foal of the Dead" side quest.
Unicorn - There is only one den with one Unicorn spawning at a time

Finishing Touches - Use Ancient Magic on every enemy in the game


There are 38 enemy types you have to use Ancient Magic on.
Unfortunetly there is no way to track that other than with pen and paper.
