Boba Fettuccine's 4222 box mid

Description
Adjust in game instructions as needed, but this formation is amazing at overwhelming low blocks and teams that sit deep. It's also just great for possession based and or triggering good counter attacks. It's rigid but doesn't feel that way.

Will add screenshots of league table and tactics views later. Cheers and enjoy! :)

Yea I've noticed it's kind of lacking now too might have to do some tweaking. Sad because I loved this formation :(

I'm a few years into this current save. I spent 3 years with Hamburg and won the bundes in the 3rd season, spent one season with Ajax and got offered the job at Liverpool into my 3rd year now. It worked really well with Hamburg I will say got promoted the first season and finished 4th the 2nd and as I stated above finished top in the 3rd season. Did well with Ajax with a depleted team that had basically been sold off, won the league with about 3 matches to go. Liverpool has been super dominate as you can see.The biggest thing with that system is adjusting your defensive line back a little sometimes depending on how many chances the other team is creating or going more direct with your passing if you're not creating enough. Just the typical adjustments with your match options or plug and play with your players. I am interested in actually trying this out with a Vanarama north/south club on a new save soon though.

Has this been tested with a team that is actually hard to manage, or only with teams that has a high chance of winning no matter what? A League 2 team, or Brentford? Or in the German league. Need some tangible results with teams that are NOT powerhouses.
