Description
"Hey, we really need some help building these walls here!"

"Nope, can't help you. I'm a Shooting Specialist. Don't know how to build. Don't know how to mine, either."

Enough of that nonsense! This simple patch removes the forbidden work from all specialist roles. Specialists no longer have some sort of hatred for other work types just because they're good at what they do. This requires the Ideology DLC. Safe to add or remove mid-game. Feel free to request support for a specific mod, and I'll see if I can patch it.

(The in-game role descriptions still say they will refuse to do other work types. Simply ignore it, they'll work.)

PartyCowboy I'm not sure why this mod would be causing errors, all it does is patch the XML files to remove work restrictions. It could MAYBE be some mod conflict. If it isn't too much work, you can try removing a chunk of mods from the list and see if it solves anything, 200 mods is a lot and will probably break something. If not, you might have better luck with an alternative mod, there's other ones just like this. Sorry I couldn't provide you with a guaranteed solution, I have no clue myself.

You probably won't be able to do a whole lot with my message, but when I add this mod to my (admittedly ~200 mod) savefile it completely freezes the game. The logs reveal some BreathFirstSearch call (might be Depth First, but I already removed the mod before typing this) that is throwing errors at the speed of light. Maybe you can do something with this, maybe it's a weird mod interaction (probably, but I did isolate it to just this mod added to my list), but in case your mod is the one that uses the BFS, could you look into it?

@VentaExtera it's a part of Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures but it's only loaded if you have Royalty. So it's in the "Mods" folder instead of the main "Defs" folder

anyway to get majordomo role to be included, Its from Royal Meme in Vanilla Ideology Expanded, Its disabling Fight so my level 14 melee guy can't hit anything now since he is non violent.
