to be honest britcho i use the 1x1 cause im to lazy to switch between the pieces and these pieces dont really affect fps that much.
its just a quality of life thing takes way less effort then optimizing it all and it really doesnt gain much if any fps

Huh, ok. I take it you both just don't use the search bar much at all to your advantage, or even the toolkit tab. Also i find this reply back more better for understanding to why it was built like such, for real you should of started off saying that.

A main reason why 1x1 pieces were used instead of bigger versions in this was simply time constraints. This was made for a contest so had very limited time so builds were built as quickly as possible.
So if we were building a small section of wall with 1x1 pieces and then needed to build a large section of wall next to it, it was quicker to just select a bunch of 1x1 pieces and copy paste quickly in a line than find the bigger pieces, copy the colour across and then line it all up.

Even though you need more 1x1 pieces to build that wall it actually ends up being quicker in the moment to build with them in a weird way.

Its just a flat plan wall with no extensive trim or pillars ect around it, i don't believe using the tiny versions is worth the performance hit, when other sizes would of gotten the same job done for less.

The outside of the world to protect building isn't as bad will admit, if replaced with the bigger options can only get away with like 1 row of 4x4s and 2x2 or stick with the 1x1 at the very top of the 4x4 before the top trim is reached so not too much of a part count reduction but still at least it does cut the number down bit. But the inside of this building is so much more of a worse offender and is the main reason why i asked.

Its much taller in quite few spots around the room and so 2X 4x4 would been more wiser to be used in most areas around the inside area + would of been quicker to build too instead of placing so many 1x1's so thats just another pro.

Oh well thanks for giving a answer anyways and hopeful still listening to what i had to discuses on it. As said still quite enjoyed the park sort of hope in future or for your pc 2 workshops that trying to optimise the park would at least be somewhat more considered apon.

1x1 piece lets you do more detailed builds and more intricate designs

8/10 park for sure.

Funny enough i was most impressed by the toilet area at the station entrance of all the other things in the park. Might very well be the best designed toilets i've ever seen and i've been around since the beginning of this game so yeah thats one big praise.

I do have a question tho with the plaster workshop item walling used in the park was there a reason why the 1x1 size was used and not the bigger sizes like the 2x2 or even the better choice to cut the part count/park performance the 4x4 one? Just interested to why that was built like such.

I loved the vibe of this park! That terraformed mountain was so good! It really made me feel like I was in a real life theme park! Great job you two!!!!
