After all the years William spent in Cassidy's hell, he learned a thing or two and was getting too close to winning for Cassidy's comfort. As a last ditch attempt Cassidy sends his soul to a new place; a unfamiliar environment full of strange sounds and smells.. and strange creatures.

Q: I'm confused about the controls for Purple Guy's tainted form, and how the tainted works in general.
A: Purple Guy's tainted starts with the pocket active "Monitor". You will notice that pressing Q does not do anything because the monitor is not open. You have to press the Left Alt key to open the monitor. Pressing the Left Alt key while the monitor is open will change what option you have selected. Now, pressing Q will confirm your selection and repair the curse. To close the monitor you have to move to "EXIT" and select it with Q. When taking damage, his tainted will gain a random curse which will need to be repaired with the Monitor. He also has a random chance to gain a decrease in all stats which you also need to repair.

Q: What happened to Purple Guy's old tainted?
A: Purple Guy's old tainted was seen as boring and was replaced in favor of one that has a better gimmick.

Q: Why is "Mom's Knife Synergies!" by JamesB456 required?
A: Purple Guy starts with Mom's Knife as his main way of attacking. Adding these synergies makes the character better and more fun to play with.

Q: What should I do if I find a bug with the mod?

Purple Guy and his Tainted form do not have any item unlocks or any costumes. It is planned but unlikely to add these in future updates.
