Better Distress Call

Description
Expands upon the vanilla Anomaly Distress Call quest.

Vanilla changes:

In Vanilla Anomaly, Distress Call quests/events always generate dead pawns on the map. Now if you respond and get there fast enough, you will find that depending on the time of your arrival, some of the pawns might still be alive or wounded. Pawns will try to fight back if early enough but will run away if things are going grim. Prepare carefully for the threat is harder than in vanilla if you wish to go ASAP.

If Biotech is installed, there is 5% chance that a pawn will be a child.

New distress call variants:

These variants can be turned on and off in the mod's settings! No need to restart, the options take effect instantly!

Shamblers - Find an outpost of another faction overrun by the horde of shamblers while the tile is affected by the deathpall.

Chimeras - Find an outpost of another faction overrun by ravenous chimeras hunting for some pawns.

Horax - Find an outpost of another faction overrun by cultists and their ghouls.

Obelisks - Outposts have a chance to contain an obelisk with its effects on the map, the chance is customizable in the settings.

thank you for making this mod. seeing a distress call pop up makes me excited now thinking of what horrors i'll witness. the writing is also great. remains pleasantly within the vanilla theme but very descriptive and scary.

I would say Shambler one pretty op/time consuming than others.Constant deathpall also makes it not worth to fight. I just leg away from map. Fighting like 100 shambler while managing other map not fun.

yeah i don't think the mod is properly set up to scale with your caravan so like raids on distress calls end up being treated like faction raids except they are way over your league and you have zero time to prep and set up barricades or turrets, etc for your offenses because unlike faction raids horax cults among other events added by this are IMMEDIATELY aggroed.

Yeah the balance for this is way over what I play as too, no way I can fight 200+ high level enemies with 5 guys with rifles (I'm expected to have 20 supersoldiers with flamethrowers or something? my wealth is always way higher because I like to build a nice base not a trap/turret mazes but I can limit the home base raids in the settings). I still enjoyed looking at the bases getting swarmed before I run away though. Anyone know a way to mod the mod to make it doable for less high level combat focused players?

Yeah i noticed that too, I thought it was because i got there immediatly, but even if you wait 10 days, the amount of shambler is the same. If you play smaller colonies, shambler is an automatic no sadly

Not sure this happened because of late response, but oftentimes I get 200 shamblers in a death pall, which either takes multiple days to clear out, or its an instant abandon, as they simply overrun me. I could clear a site once with 14 late game supersodliers. Maybe I need to learn to play, but would be nice if scaling do no go over the roof.
