Finally a map that is a legit challenge on hard and got me really thinking, strategizing, and almost dying countless times.
The sole iron resource is on the opposite side of the map, obviously limiting what you do and how you do it throughout the cycles. The starting position in the pic made me think, meh, looks easy enough? Not so---the careful positioning (and lack of) natural slopes and limited resources made this a very challenging and patient grind early on and barely surviving the onslaught of bad tides.
I was going to ask the map maker to add a slope between the start level and next level up, but after several attempts and lots of trial and error, I figured it out.
For a first map, this one is freggin awesome -- Keep going! (Award given!)
