Based on the acclaimed grand strategy video games from Paradox Interactive, Hearts of Iron: The Board Game puts you in control of a key nation during the early years of WWII, with a twist! Will you follow the course of history, or explore an alternative timeline? What if the German Reich was a monarchist state? What if the Soviets abandoned Communism and formed a theocracy? You decide whether to relive history, or rewrite it!

Hearts of Iron: The Board Game is made for video game and strategy board game fans alike. You'll choose your nation's ideology, form and break alliances, deploy iconic units to take territory from other players, and much more! The game runs for 3-4 hours and plays out over 6 rounds, giving you and your friends a full Hearts of Iron experience in a single play session.

This digital demo gives you a taster of the full game. It supports 2-3 players who can choose one of three nations: the German Reich, United Kingdom, or Soviet Union! The full game supports more players (up to 5) and includes more playable nations. This digital demo is based on the Standard Edition of the board game, using unit tokens instead of miniatures.
