After a few games, I came up with house rules which made the game even more fun (according to all players in our test games):
1. If you don't hit a card or a jackpot on your first roll with 3 dice, you roll again with 3 dice. In this case, the second roll counts (and the first roll doesn't matter anymore).
2. Sombreros don't count to the limit of 3 drawn cards. This means that if you draw e.g. 1 Sombrero, there will be 4 cards on the table. Theoretically (but very unlikely), all Sombreros can be on the table plus 3 normal cards. Sombreros don't count to the limit of 3 cards either if you restock the cards on the table. When you discard cards from the table, you discard all cards including all Sombreros.
3. If you roll a Sombrero, you may only take up to 2 Sombreros *per roll of dice* (even if there were more than 2 Sombreros on the table).
