Regarding B42: B42 has a lot of crafted clothing, but nothing as quick and simple as wrapping cloth around your hands/feet for minimal protection. If you want to port this to B42 the biggest change will be the recipes, which will need to be redone.
One advantage of the new system: if you add items for denim/leather handwraps you'd also be able to use a single "create handwraps" recipe that lets the user choose rags, denim strips or cloth that produces the appropriate output item.
And this looks somewhat nicer than the B42 deal.
@Nancy Drew 2k20 Good to know, I've only updated one mod to be B42 compatible so I'll have to take another look to remember how.
