Martial Kingdom of Aristava


On the Southern hand of the Belenian continent sits the a state born out of a violent secession from the Castrisian crown in the early 20th century, and a national identity heralding from Aristavan rebel nobles and warlords of the medieval age.
The Martial Kingdom of Aristava is something of a cultural bulwark that exists in stark contrast to Castrisia and sister-state Vukovia, speaking a different official language and a very different national spirit than their neighbours. Despite enjoying relative economic success and individual freedoms, Aristava's administration, in large part due to historical necessity, has grown to follow a calculating and uncompromising doctrine both domestically and internationally. This has more than once led the country into facing international scrutiny, and in some cases, conflict.

The Aristavan Army

The Aristavan Army is a hardened force built on a foundation of rigorous discipline and autonomous leadership. It operates as a highly drilled and adaptive force, comprised majoritively of 3-year compulsory service members, while still having a large base of career soldiers and officers. The Aristavan infantry are trained primarily to fight in the woodland frontiers of Belenia, with an emphasis on decentralized command, allowing small unit leaders to adapt plans quickly in the field. The apex of this small unit versatility are the Army Force Recon units- highly mobile forces specializing in demolitions, direct-action strikes, and spearheading assaults. These units excel at infiltrating enemy positions, neutralizing hardened defenses, and closing the distance to disrupt enemy formations, paving the way for the sustained advance of regular forces. With a doctrine focused on shaping and controlling the battlespace, Aristavan ground forces employ coordinated firepower and frequently cooperate directly with the air force to ensure operational superiority. This approach cements the Aristavan Army as a force that does not simply meet the enemy- but dictates the terms of battle itself.

The Aristavan Air Force

The Aristavan Air Force operates, in somewhat of a controversial and dated school of thought from the days of secession, largely as an extension of the army, prioritizing supporting and enabling the army over independent operations. Focused on enduring long term operations with the army, it ensures that ground forces maintain control of movement in the battlespace. The HŠP-76 utility helicopter serves as its backbone, deployed in various roles from troop transport to reconnaissance and even a gunship variant. The air force operates a fleet of fixed wing strike aircraft and fighter-interceptors, the SW-199 Sęp, and SW-199M Orzeł, respectively, which serve to further aid in ensuring the flow of battle on the ground is in their favour. Many rising figures in the Aristavan military apparatus have been pushing for reform in doctrine and procurement away from the idea of "army first", and as time goes on, and tensions with the naval and air superpower Estraria continue to worsen, they are likely to get their way in coming years.

No worries at all, it is quite an undertaking- I'm going on over 4 years of mostly teaching myself with decade old YT tutorials and a lot of trial and error lol
A project like this can more or less be boiled down just to retexturing existing assets and the configs, there are some solid Steam Guides that cover the basics of retexturing which I'd recommend just to familiarize yourself with how to apply a custom texture via Eden so you can start experimenting
