Diamond Diverging Interchange

This is my VERY first asset so figuring out how to upload and put together all of this was one hell of a challenge..
But I finally got there!

I actually want to pursue a Road and Traffic Engineering course so was looking up all different types of intersection designs and how they flow when I stumbled upon this beauty. I put this in my map and the traffic flows AMAZINGLY.
Give it a go in your city!
Can easily be changed for left/right hand side traffic depending what your city is.

The Diamond Diverging Interchange, also called a double crossover diamond interchange (DCD), is a type of diamond interchange in which the two directions of traffic on the freeway overpass (or underpass) briefly drive on the opposite side of the road.

This is a significant improvement as:
- No long turns
- Movements are discrete, and controlled by traffic signals.
- Two-phase signals with short cycle lengths, significantly reducing delay.
- Increases the capacity of an existing overpass or underpass, by removing the need for turn lanes.

As of January 2017, 90 DDIs were operational across the world including:
- 3 in France
- 1 in the United Arab Emirates
- 86 in the United States of America

Hey all!

I added some photos of a mod I use to add/remove traffic lights and connects the lanes together.
This mod is EXTREMELY useful as cars kept chucking u-turns where they're meant to go straight.

Traffic Manager:President Edition it's called. Just read up and make sure the mods you currently have installed are compatible with it. :)
