The question is, what's the connection between those parts, and the FFB config file?

So I did a little more testing with the error, and it's not directly related to the Nexus RX front bumper. The parts that seem to trigger the error seem to be the tournament reward FRONT LIP SPOILER and tournament reward FRONT GRILLE.

I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about those crashes. The mod only changes the config file for the FFB and nothing else. I don't understand how a bumper can lead to a crash, when a FFB mod is active.

As @resignator mentioned, mod causes the game to crash with nexus bumper issue.... otherwise this should be an optional part of the base game for FFB.... I can actually feel drifts with my car now on my Fanatec wheel.....

At least on my wheel, the difference to the original FFB is like night and day and not just some "suspension clonking" like you described.

Are you sure the mod is enabled and you used the settings from my screenshots?

It's still a improvement over the games ffb. I can now feel my suspension clonking around a bit on dirt surface. How did you do this? I would like to mess around with a FFB mod of my own.

You don't need to change anything except for the FFB strength maybe.

Just look at my screenshots above. The mod already disables any artificial forces and only uses physics based self aligning torque for FFB.

The mod doesn't have a config file to mess with.

Its been so long since i used mods or really played this game. I now have new direct drive wheel and the default FFB is horrible. Hoping this will fix it. I am curious, how do you change the FFB settings for the mod? Is there a config file somewhere to mess with?

I did more testing and it only happens if you remove the front bumper on the nexus. Working fine otherwise. Thanks for the great mod, btw :)

Sorry, but I have no idea how to fix this behavior. All this mod does, is changing some of the FFB values. It doesn't touch anything else.

Love the mod but the game crashes when you select the vehicle Nexus in the garage or if someone is using it in multiplayer. "17_asian:default: Cannot find parent object bumper_front for tour_bumper_front_grille" is the error thrown. Hope to get it patched because I need this mod in my life.

dude, holy hell. This, plus setting my old ass driving force GT to 540 degrees max instead of its usual 900, made a HUGE difference. Makes me realize how awful the base game FFB is

I don't know why they ruined the FFB. All the values for a communicative FFB are already provided by the game physics. Unfortunately, they decided to add an artificial centering force that works against the natural self aligning torque. That's why it felt so wrong.

I even wrote an e-mail to Bugbear a while ago complaining about the FFB pulling stronger to the left and too weak to the right in comparison, it was totally uneven! and guess what, YOU fixed it ! I even thought it was my Moza R9! but it was only happening in this game. Honestly BugBear should pay you!!! seriously!

It's a good wheel for its price and it has a pretty good set of pedals. You can't compare it to a G29, it's like night and day. But i don't know if it's sold anymore.

Is that wheel worth getting? I have a g29 currently and looking to upgrade soon
