use console command volumetrics_quality (1-4)

1 = Low (1/64th resolution)
2 = Medium (1/16th resolution)
3 = High (1/4 resolution)
4 = Extreme (full resolution)

i wanted to ask because i have no idea what im doing in the lua file but maybe we can have an option to select the resolution of the fog?

or even better could you tell me what i have to change to increase resolution?

it's fine if you dont wanna tell me but i thought to ask because i feel like i could run the fog at higher resolutions and not have massive performance issues

@Peter Lemoncello there was, however it was removed because it used code from this without permission. I personally hope the creator of this mod will make a version like that, because it was nice to have it naturally spawned in.

I believe you should create your own naturally occurring version after what happened with the addon fiasco. It's clear many people want it based on how fast that stolen addon gained traction.

You can do it with pac3, just add a projected texture and put aim direction to local eyes.

Nice little QoL feature would be to auto set volumetrics_quality to 4 when using poster commands. Likewise with poster_soft from the Soft Lamps addon which actually works quite well with this.

This is impressive and all, but the effect harshly disappears if you do so much as go into the wrong room or area of the map, this ONLY happens when you adjust the settings to max, and you can't just put the effect in different areas of the map because it overlaps with itself.
I love this mod, I really do, but it's customizability leaves a bit to be desired.
If possible, could you turn it into a semi-prop or something that isn't an effect? I ask this because the wield prop to player mod doesn't work with the effect, or could you make a map-wide version of this?
It could just be my mods, but if it isn't, could you remove all forms of culling?
