Recommended mods for a first playthrough?

Been meaning to play the game, but I know it has a huuuuuge modding community, so I'm wondering if there are any must-have mods that wouldn't feel out of place and would instead enhance my experience, maybe some QoL stuff, or maybe just some really fun stuff. I took a look at the workshop page myself but most mods are just, like, hat power-ups or morphs that turn you into a character or give you unique abilities, and I'm not sure those would be a good idea for someone who never played the game before.

id recommend no mods as mods can break achievements or break runs specifically

First off, thanks a lot for the replies! I had already found a few QoL mods earlier but I will definitely be adding a lot of the mods you sent as they just seem like genuine improvements, thanks! And as of now I don't have any of the DLC, I might get it some other time though.

Oh, Thank You @Melted. It's disappointing that you don't have DLCs, but that's Ok. Don't forget to check here daily! I will try to find new quality of life and fix mods daily.

WARNING!!! Do not use the Sort My Inventory mod! If you subscribe and then for whatever reason decide to unsubscribe it. Then, it will make your save file DELETED!

A lot of the comments on the mod seem to back up that it does mess with your save but what would I know i'm the noob here lol. Anyway it's a bit late for that I already got it the other day now I guess I just have to never get rid of it unless I want my save all messed up.
