Why Early Access?

“Hello, we're Combat Cat Studio. We're a team of over 20 friends who share the same vision and passion for shooter games. We aimed to create a unique game that could bring joy to the community and ourselves. That's how Wild Assault came to life. From April 2024 to Early Access, we've conducted four open tests. During this journey, we were fortunate enough to receive countless help, feedback, support, and recognition from our community, which allowed us to further polish this project in the right direction. Now that we have enough content for players to fully and sustainably experience Wild Assault, we’ve decided to enter the Early Access phase. We hope to continue collecting valuable feedback from our players during this stage and work tirelessly to reach the next phase: the final release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We promise to update the game and release new content regularly during Early Access, in order to refine and perfect every aspect of the game. According to our development plan, Wild Assault's Early Access phase will last for approximately one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In addition to addressing basic issues and optimizing the experience for the Early Access version, we aim to continue building the grand vision we’ve designed for Wild Assault over the next year. As the game seasons progress, we will gradually introduce new Valiants, weapons, game modes, maps, and cosmetics to enrich the immersive gameplay experience. We also plan to further explore possibilities with the achievement system, esports, the Steam Workshop, social features, Valiant interaction experiences, and customization, creating fresh and innovative content along the way.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Wild Assault Early Access version offers 10 Valiants, 30 weapons, 2 game modes, 3 maps, and dozens of cosmetic appearances. It also features a comprehensive tutorial, a Valiant proficiency system, a gunsmith system, and game seasons. Compared to the open test version, we’ve further improved game performance, UI/UX, and visual quality based on community feedback. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer in Early Access!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We believe the current price reflects the unfinished state of the Early Access version and is a way to express our gratitude to players who actively support the game during this stage. We also promise that all basic Valiants and weapons will be permanently available through free unlockable methods. As the game continues to improve and expand with future updates, we may adjust the pricing slightly. However, rest assured, we will ensure the pricing remains fair and reasonable based on the game’s content quality and our community’s feedback.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Combat Cat Studio has been actively following community discussions and collecting feedback on the Steam community and other social media platforms. Additionally, we’ve implemented an in-game feedback function to make it easier for players to express their ideas with us. Moving forward, we will stay connected with our community through developer logs, keeping everyone updated on what we’ve been working on. Lastly, we warmly invite all players interested in Wild Assault to join our community and share your thoughts with us!”
