Spanning a day and a half, the End-of-Programme Meeting for the “Digital Rights Programme for Civil Society Organisations” was held from 25 to 26 October 2024 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It marked the culmination of a year-long initiative focused on enhancing the understanding and advocacy of digital rights among Civil Society Organisations (CSO)s. Day 1, held at University of Reading Malaysia featured three panels and a workshop. Today, 25 October 2024, Asia Centre signed four individual MoUs with four civil society organisations: Digital Rights Nepal, Evropské hodnoty / European Values Center for Security Policy, Hashtag Generation and Southeast Asia Freedom of Expression Network - SAFEnet, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This marks the start of a collaborative journey through to 2027 and beyond. Each MoU is dedicated to advancing social development through initiatives such as knowledge-sharing conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as delivering evidence-based research.
