Today, SCB is a leading universal bank, offering deposits and lending and a wide range of other products and services, to meet the needs of all customers. Our retail services include home loans, personal credit, car hire purchase, credit cards, ATM cards, debit cards, currency exchange facilities and overseas remittances as well as investment and insurance products. For corporate and SME customers, the Bank offers cash management-related services, lending products, international trade financing, treasury products, debt and capital market products, corporate advisory, investment banking and other services. Our services are backed by our extensive banking network and continual pursuit of technological innovation. In addition, the Bank's SCB Group includes three major subsidiaries that provide specialized financial services: SCB Securities, SCB Asset Management and SCB Life Assurance. Under the vision to serve as "The Most Admired Bank,” SCB has established a strategic plan called SCB Transformation, designed to dramatically upgrade the Bank's infrastructure and enhance its long-term competitiveness. This transformative plan responds to rapid change in the financial services industry, which is being reshaped by digital technology, regulatory change and new consumer behavior. Following this strategic plan's "Going Upside Down" approach, the Bank will transform its business model and thinking throughout its human resources, work processes, products and technology, enabling breakthrough performance and creating sustainable value for our customers and society.

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟬/𝟵𝟬 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 🎯📝 "A good plan is half the battle" is probably a saying many people have heard, and it's definitely not an exaggeration! Indeed, research has shown that having clear "goals" for work creates more momentum toward success, because if we don't even know what we're doing ourselves, it would be difficult to accomplish that thing. 💡 Let's get to know how to create better life plans using the '10/90 principle', which means spending 10% of your total time planning, which can help save up to 90% of the time when actually doing the work! ⏳ Here's how to apply the 10/90 principle in real work situations: 1. 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙙 🛏️ Planning what we intend to do the next day is easy and doesn't take long. It also helps us sleep peacefully and wake up with clear goals. But if we choose not to plan before taking action or before the new day arrives, it means we're letting our next day pass by mindlessly, letting ourselves drift along with whatever comes each hour, which might result in failing to complete our intended tasks. 2. 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 ⏰ The advantage of planning and writing it down in our plan is that it helps our brain remember and recognize that this is important work we need to complete. If we don't write it down in our calendar or To-Do List, our brain might not remember it, causing us to forget tasks that need to be done. 3. 𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 📋 Before starting any piece of work, try to stop and create a rough outline first to see which parts we'll work on and what each part will consist of. Drafting before taking action helps us see the bigger picture of the work and makes us realize why we're doing this piece of work. However, be careful not to make the outline too extensive or detailed, as over-planning might drain our energy and make us lazy to start actually doing the work. As you can see, the 10/90 principle is a technique that can be easily applied to work because constantly planning helps us avoid wasting energy thinking about what to do next or what we should do first or last. Instead, it helps us follow the plan and complete tasks super easily! ✨ #CareerSCB #1090Rule #GoalsSetting #ToDoList #Planning #BrighterFutureAwaits

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗨𝘀 𝗕𝘆? 💁♀️🌟 "What kind of person do others see me as?" This is a question we've all probably asked ourselves, as we all want to be loved and accepted by those around us. In reality, our image in the eyes of others depends on just a few things. But these things are often overlooked. ❗ 🔍 Let's look at four small things that people generally use to judge us after seeing and interacting with us for a while... 1. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 (𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮) ⏰: When there's a work meeting or a get-together with friends, there's almost always someone who's consistently late. No matter how much buffer time is added, they still manage to be late. If this becomes a habit, it can lead to others viewing you as irresponsible, lacking time management skills, and, especially in situations affecting many people, irresponsible towards the group, unreliable, untrustworthy, and undisciplined. 2. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩) 📣: Many people worry that they're not good speakers. But engaging in a good conversation doesn't mean you have to be a great or talkative speaker. The key is paying attention to the conversation at hand. People naturally like to talk about themselves. We simply need to practice asking questions at the right moments, maintain eye contact, and listen sincerely. With just these things, you'll become someone others unconsciously enjoy talking to. 3. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 (𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚/𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚) 👗: Many people judge others with just a glance. This makes attire important, as it's the first thing others see externally and use to judge us even before a conversation. The clothes we wear are like a tool to communicate who we are. Therefore, dressing appropriately and according to the occasion is something we should never overlook. 4. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 (𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩) 💡: Continuously developing our abilities, daring to challenge ourselves, and pushing ourselves forward shows others that we respect ourselves, believe in our potential, and want to become the best versions of ourselves. Imagine if childhood friends met us today. They'd be surprised by our progress. If we've changed for the better, they'd likely respect us more than if we'd stayed the same. These are four small things that many people might overlook, but they communicate more about our character than we think. If you feel you're lacking in any of these areas, this might be a sign that it's time to make some changes! ✨ #CareerSCB #BrighterFutureAwaits #Punctuality #Appearance #SelfImprovement

These accolades reaffirm the bank’s commitment to fostering a strong corporate culture and driving sustainable business practices under its “Digital Bank With a Human Touch” strategy. Ms. Wannarat Phanjan, First Executive Vice President and Head of Operations at SCB, noted, "These awards reflect our dedication to creating a happy and sustainable organization. At SCB, employees are at the heart of our success-when they thrive, they drive innovation and deliver exceptional service to customers. We also emphasize sustainability through environmentally responsible initiatives that support Net Zero goals at both the organizational and national levels. Our projects encourage employees to take an active role in building a tangible, sustainable future. The Bank is dedicated to initiatives that engage employees in building a sustainable future, such as Happy 8, an employee engagement project, and Whale & Friends, which focuses on environmental sustainability." The Happy 8 program fosters employee engagement and well-being through eight key aspects of happiness: Happy Body (good physical and mental health), Happy Heart (kindness and generosity), Happy Soul (a virtuous and positive mindset), Happy Brain (continuous learning and development), Happy Relax (the ability to unwind), Happy Money (effective financial management), Happy Family (a warm and stable family life), and Happy Society (love and harmony within the community and environment). This initiative helps employees maintain work-life balance, particularly amid evolving work trends post-COVID-19. Another award-winning initiative, Whale & Friends, led by the Operations Business Unit, promotes environmental sustainability under the concept of “Turning Waste into Value.” Employees contribute by dropping plastic bottles at designated spots, with every 10 bottles recycled into blankets and monk's robes. To date, this project has recycled 85,785 plastic bottles and reduced 4.6 tons of CO₂ emissions. This initiative aligns with SCB’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050 and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. The Asian Management Excellence Awards recognizes organizations excelling in employee engagement, corporate culture, and sustainable business practices. SCB’s achievement reflects the collective efforts of its employees, reinforcing its commitment to balancing business growth with social and environmental responsibility. #SCB #DigitalBankWithHumanTouch

𝟱 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁! ✨ Since childhood, many people have been taught that if you want to be someone who looks good and is confident, you must practice speaking in front of large groups or start conversations with strangers. While these are ways to build confidence, sometimes confidence doesn't come solely from being a skilled speaker or being outwardly expressive. 🙅♀️ Let's look at 5 habits that, if broken, will undoubtedly help boost your confidence. 1. Stop Seeking Validation from Others: Often, after presenting work in public or performing activities in front of a crowd, many people become insecure, worrying if what they said or did was good enough. They try to regain confidence by asking those around them how they performed. While this isn't inherently wrong, constantly seeking external validation prevents you from feeling truly confident on your own. 2. Stop Catastrophizing: Many times, people tend to imagine the worst possible outcomes in advance. For example, if your boss emails you requesting a private meeting tomorrow, you might start worrying about what you did wrong or if you're going to be reprimanded, even if you know you haven't done anything wrong. When we dwell on uncertain future negative possibilities, our self-confidence diminishes. 3. Stop Agreeing When You Disagree: Many people have likely been in situations where they didn't want to eat at a particular restaurant or watch a specific movie, but they went along with it because their friends wanted to. In psychology, this is normal human behavior, prioritizing the needs of others over our own due to fear of not being liked or accepted. However, constantly agreeing with everyone can lead to a lack of self-awareness, clear boundaries, and the confidence to express your true desires. 4. Stop Doubting Your Abilities: It's important to understand that confidence and humility can coexist. Being humble doesn't always mean lacking confidence. Some humble people are well aware of their strengths but choose not to boast. Conversely, some people constantly question their abilities, even after receiving praise and awards. They choose to be overly humble, saying they're not good enough. If we don't believe in ourselves, it's difficult for others to believe in our abilities. 5. Stop Berating Yourself for Past Mistakes: When we make mistakes, the first thing many people do is criticize themselves negatively, which worsens how they feel and further reduces self-confidence. Instead of relentless self-criticism, we should acknowledge our mistakes and rationally consider how to improve in the future. This approach fosters constructive self-improvement. These are 5 habits to break to regain self-confidence. Of course, we can't eliminate these habits overnight. Start with the easiest ones and gradually work on the others. Your confidence will gradually return without needing external confirmation. #CareerSCB #SelfConfidence #Habits
