All the District SPs presented their preparatory actions before the DGP and other senior officers. However, DGP Ranjan emphasised coordinated efforts and intelligence-based actions.
The meeting claimed in the recent Gandatwisa turmoil, police swung into action and brought the situation under control within a short span of time.

DGP further sounded strong measures to be taken against the mischief-mongers and troublemakers.
He accentuated in no uncertain terms that peace and tranquillity should be maintained at any cost and CAPF/TSR should be utilised judiciously by District SPs to ensure the same.
He instructed District SPs to remain absolutely alert as far as ethnic and communal issues are concerned and must not allow any such situation to aggravate and directed SPs to personally visit the spot or scene of crime which is grave in nature.
