The deceased have been identified as R Palraj, 45, of Muthiyal Street in Arisipalayam, his wife P Rekha,38, and their daughter Jananishree.
Four young men were arrested for raping a 38-year-old woman in Ramanathapuram when she went to relieve herself. The incident occurred on December 29. The suspects, aged 26 to 27, were apprehended by the All Women Police Station. They were later remanded to judicial custody on December 31.
