Vijay appoints Aadhav Arjuna as TVK general secretary

CHENNAI: TVK president Vijay on Friday appointed former VCK deputy general secretary Aadhav Arjuna as the party’s general secretary for election campaign management.
Vijay posted former AIADMK IT wing secretary C T R Nirmal Kumar as TVK’s IT and social media wing deputy general secretary.
The appointments were made on the day the duo joined the party in the presence of Vijay at its headquarters in Panaiyur on the outskirts of Chennai.
Vijay appointed 15 functionaries, including YouTuber A Rajmohan as party propaganda secretary and S Vigneswaran as spokesperson.
“New office-bearers are being appointed to strengthen the party’s organisational structure and to build a strong election campaign structure,” Vijay said in a statement. The office-bearers took the party’s pledge upon being announced in the new positions.
Meanwhile, NTK coordinator Jagadeesa Pandian quit NTK, alleging that party chief coordinator Seeman was meeting right-wing politicians and toeing the line of right-wing politics. “I won’t be able to betray Tamil and Tamil nationalism in the name of the politics you (Seeman) speak of under the guidance of the right wing,” he said in a letter to Seeman.
