Some areas experienced heavy rainfall.


The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by light thunderstorms and lightning, in various parts of Delhi on Sunday.
Areas likely to be affected include Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, Kalkaji, Mehrauli, Tughlakabad, Chhatarpur, IGNOU, Ayanagar and Deramandi.

On Saturday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius, which is 2.9 degrees above the seasonal average.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital was recorded in the "moderate" category, with a reading of 106 at 6 pm, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
