IIM Jammu hosts 'Fostering Academia and Industry Partnerships' event at Bengalaru

JAMMU: To provide promising avenues to youth and to bridge the gap between academia and industry, , the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu on Saturday hosted a Roundtable Conference at Bengaluru, on the theme "Fostering Academia and Industry Partnership: The Way Ahead."
"The event was aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering collaboration to address current challenges and future opportunities in the corporate world," official spokesperson of IIM Jammu said here today.
"In his welcome address, Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, underscored the vital importance of strong partnerships between academia and industry in shaping the future of education. He also highlighted IIM Jammu's commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application."
As per IIM Jammu spokesperson, "Dr Garima Saini, Co-Chairperson Placements, IIM Jammu, Dr Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Chairperson Placements, IIM Jammu spoke about the institute's robust academia-industry connect."
"The conference featured three insightful panel discussions, each addressing critical aspects of the industry-academia partnership. "
"The Bengalaru Roundtable Conference is yet another step in IIM Jammu's commitment to fostering a dynamic and mutually beneficial relationship between academia and industry, he added.
He said, "The gala event concluded with an Alumni Meet organized by the Alumni Committee of IIM Jammu at the venue."
