Three medical students held for looting milk van in Rajasthan, two absconding

In Jodhpur, on Sunday night, police arrested SN Medical College students Vikas Bishnoi (22), Mahesh Bishnoi (22), and Om Prakash Jat (23) for looting a milk van at MDM Hospital's gate. They robbed Rs 4,600, and threatened and pushed the driver. SHO Devendra Singh confirmed they will face court. Two suspects, including an AIIMS student, are absconding.

JODHPUR: Police arrested three medical students for looting a milk van near MDM Hospital on Sunday night, while two other students have been absconding. Of these five students, four are students of SN Medical College and one is from AIIMS.
SHO (Shastri Nagar) Devendra Singh said the report had been given by the van driver accusing 5 persons of threatening, manhandling and looting his van, milk and cash.

"We have arrested the three students for disturbing peace. They will be produced in the court and then booked for loot," said Singh.
Those arrested have been identified as MBBS final-year student Vikas Bishnoi (22), third-year students Mahesh Bishnoi (22) and Om Prakash Jat (23).
According to police, these students intercepted a milk supply van at the gate of MDM Hospital and asked the driver to come out.
"When he came out, they began misbehaving and manhandling him. Three of the accused pushed him at the back of the van while two other entered the cabin and drove away," as mentioned in the complaint.
The accused snatched Rs 4,600 from the driver and ran away from the scene.
