NEW DELHI: A bomb threat email triggered an immediate security response at a school in the Jogeshwari-Oshiwara area of Mumbai, police officials said on Thursday.
Local law enforcement, along with explosive detection teams were promptly dispatched to thoroughly investigate the premises.

The threats were sent via email to Bharathi Vidya Bhavan’s Matriculation Higher Secondary Schools in Thindal and Therkkupallam, located 7 kilometers from Erode, at 11:54 am. The email warned that bombs had been planted on the premises and could explode at any moment.
School authorities immediately informed the police, prompting the deployment of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, sniffer dogs, and a team of police personnel to both locations for a thorough search.
